Stuff I Like

Oprah has her favorite things. I have mine. Some of them are even the same as Oprah’s. Like the Kindle, Amazon’s ereader. The Kindle comes in several versions, the Kindle 1, which you can probably find on ebay, Kindle 2, which you can order from Amazon, and the Kindle DX, which is a larger version that can read pdf files.

The Apple iPad is also worth looking into. It is much more than an ebook reader, and you can still purchase Kindle books from Amazon with the Kindle for iPad app.

I also have begun to put up links to some of my favorite books, music, and movies. Most of the items will have a link to Amazon, and if you click on it and buy something, Amazon will give me money. Since I’m not making a living from my writing (yet), that would be helpful and very much appreciated.

That said, my main motivation for putting up these “Stuff I Like” pages is because I like a lot of stuff that no one else has ever heard of, and I’d like more people to be aware of those things.

I promise not to put anything here that sucks.
